The 2021-22 season just started, but clubs and brands are already working on next season’s kits.
Spanish newspaper ‘Mundo Deportivo’ leaked Barcelona’s kits for the 2022-23 season. Nike and Barça have innovated with the three of them as ‘Mundo Deportivo’ labeled them as ‘revolutionary’.
The third kit generated controversy among the fans, as it features a whitish colour.
‘Mundo Deportivo’ claims that is not a pure white colour, but more of a light grey tone. Supporters still feel like it is too similar to their biggest rival’s colour, Real Madrid.
The light grey kit features a ‘Sant Jordi’ cross in blue a red. The Nike logo is on the right side and the club’s crest is on the left.
The home kit, adds a third dark blue stripe to the classic red and blue ones. This home jersey was already leaked months ago.
The away kit will be gold in a tribute to Barcelona’s 92 Olympic Games 30th anniversary.
