Cristiano Ronaldo Scores For Manchester United The First Goal Of This Champions League Edition

This 2020-22 Champions League edition already has its first goalscorer. He didn’t have to wait long for his first Champions League goal, as he scored on his first game.

It was, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo, in his favorite competition. The Portuguese striker opened the score in the 13th minute after a great cross from his Portugal teammate, Bruno Fernandes, Ronaldo finished it and put it in between Von Ballmoos legs.

It was his now-former Juve teammate Alvaro Morata who scored the first goal of the 2020-21 Champions League edition.

It’s been three months and a half  already since Kai Havertz scored the winner in the 42nd minute of last year’s Champions League final.
