Things have flipped 180 degrees in the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga. Real Madrid, ‘RMC Sport’ says, have pulled out of talks with PSG to try and sign the French striker.
This Monday at 18:00 CEST was the deadline Real Madrid had set PSG to respond to their second offer. However, the lack of a response has led Real Madrid to assume their bid has been rejected.
“Real Madrid have halted talks with Kylian Mbappe. Real Madrid representatives in Paris have indicated that they have pulled out of negotiations,” the cited media outlet said.
That is a drastic turn of events. In fact, on Monday afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain had asked for 200 million euros to begin negotiating and Real Madrid were thinking of paying it.
However, the meeting between both clubs have not gone well, based on the outcome. Real Madrid have refused to keep on negotiating with the Ligue 1 side for Mbappe.
That said, ‘RMC’ says they cannot rule out everything changing between now and the end of the market on Tuesday night.
